Speedplay Events is one of the only companies in Asia
to offer high end, tailored coaching solutions for busy professionals
& those seeking to climb their Everest, in addition
to running corporate triathlon programs. The coaching team is headed
up by Claire Murray, Hong Kongs top female triathlete and
currently ranked in the world top 50 over the Ironman distance,
however her sporting career didnt start that way. In five
years, she has transformed herself from an overweight rugby player
to an elite level triathlete in both Olympic & Ironman events.
She enjoys working with small groups or individuals
wishing to make a step forward in their fitness or achieve a new
goal, regardless of their experience or current fitness level. Claire
prepares weekly programs for most clients to ensure each session
they do has a purpose and is helping them work towards achieving
their goals. Most clients in Asia have limited time to train or
think about what session they should be doing next, so by getting
programs sent to them, they dont waste a minute of time. The
programs are often supplemented by one-on-one or group training
sessions to help Claire provide tips and technique advice, assess
improvements in fitness and monitor how the training program is
working.
Current clients range from complete beginners with
no prior experience in swimming, cycling or running to triathletes
or runners who wish to step up to Ironman events or ultra-running.
