Client Quotes

“…Whilst Ironman it was one of the toughest things I have ever attempted, I thoroughly enjoyed it….surprising given the way I felt over the last 10 km’s of the run! Preparation was everything and Claire provided a program that made sure this was not only achievable, but made you as comfortable as such a ridiculous event can! “

Jeremy Sheldon, Property Executive (Hong Kong)

“Claire has an amazing ability to provide a training program and structure that seems to work for very busy people. She motivates you to get through the training with encouragement and understanding, her 'can do' approach to life and the sport getting you through the toughest bits. Her mental strength was a great inspiration throughout the whole ordeal. Trite but true- I couldn't have done Ironman without her. Many thanks, Claire.”

Thomas Brown, Lawyer (Hong Kong)

“Claire’s training is not only about triathlon or sport – it has a more far-reaching effect on the individuals involved – showing a clear path towards news goals and how to achieve them, or in some cases providing a reminder that setting and achieving targets can actually be satisfying and fun.”

Gawain Barnard, Fund Manager (Hong Kong)

Dear Claire, Ash and Joss,

A huge thanks to the three of you for the past 6mths. You have been inspirational in your non-stop encouragement and effort in guiding me, and everyone else who participated, to the finish line on Saturday. It wasn't just Saturday, it was the training sessions, the laps (be they swim or run - Ash), the morning runs (at home and on business trips), the bike sessions, the advice, the feedback etc etc etc...you guys gave luddites like myself the inspiration to pretend we are a bit younger than we really are, but more so your were the conduit from the couch or screen to the track for people who don't know how to make that first initial leap which is so often the hardest. I knew I wanted to do something like this but wasn't sure how to start as the gap felt too large to make to start.

Huge credit goes to CLSA for having the foresight to offer something like this and also to then make sure they got hold of three great, fit, young, bright, friendly girls. You three!! If you were anyone else we might all still be in the couch.

Congratulations to Joss and Claire for amazing efforts on Saturday and I'm very sorry Ashley tripped and injured herself going into the water. It was one thing to worry about us but doing all that and also getting to the line yourselves - you should be very proud.

Many, many thanks to the three of you again and to CLSA.

Without you guys I couldn't have done it.

A huge void now exists...what next? A swim Wednesday and a run later in the week I guess....

I decided to work with Claire to prepare for my second Ironman (Ironman France 2006). I had had my first baby in the meantime so there were extra challenges to overcome and I felt like we were starting from scratch. Initially, completing a 5km run felt like an almost insurmountable challenge, so there was a lot of work to do! Claire’s support was invaluable. She provided me with a program, which increased my workload in manageable increments so that I was in top notch condition on race day, which was incidentally the day my baby was a mere 11 months old! Her support throughout providing motivation at all times. The result was that on race day I never once had a doubt as to whether or not I would make it to the finish line, which was a very different experience to my first race. I also managed to knock 1hour and 22minutes off my previous time over a much more challenging course. Thank you Claire.
