What’s New?

Mark Stevenson completed his first Ironman this summer after coming to the team 3 years ago unable to swim 25m (see previous article on Bricks Can Float by Mark). Not to take the easy option, he picked IM France which has 2,000 of climbing over the 180km bike ride.. click here for full details of Mark’s experience.

It was an awesome week of laughs, great weather, awesome cycling, lots of food and wine and Jack, Matt and I can’t wait until June next year!! The camp incorporated the Swiss 70.3 Race at the start and the Thusis Sprint Triathlon at the finish - well done Emily for your second place finish for the women after doing the Escape from Alcatraz the weekend before, the camp all week then a little sprint through the forest to finish things off... great result. Bricks Can Float - I asked Mark Stevenson to write an article in the hope it will inspire some of you non-swimmers out there to pick up your hat and goggles and head to the pool or one of our Monday night swim sessions!! Thanks Mark… and the journey continues as Mark gets ready to join me at Ironman France in three weeks for his first Ironman. I can feel another story coming already… watch this space!!
